Our History
Hindi Bhashi Cultural Organization (HBCA).

The Hindi-speaking Indian population in the Indianapolis area has been steadily growing over the past several decades. However, until recently, there was no association or cultural organization dedicated to providing a platform where the Hindi Speaking Indian diaspora could come together to celebrate their cultural heritage. There was also a lack of opportunities for individuals to share knowledge and experiences, while embracing the new culture of the United States.

Recognizing this need, a group of committed individuals, including Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Mahesh Goel, Rohit Gupta, Ankit Parashar, and Neeraj Gupta, came together with the shared vision of creating an organization that would cater to the cultural and social needs of the Hindi-speaking community. Their goal was to create a space where members could celebrate their traditions, foster a sense of community, and offer support to one another as they navigate life in a new country. Most important is to ensure that the next generation remained connected to their cultural roots.

In 2023, this collective vision led to the formation of the Hindi Bhashi Cultural Organization (HBCA). Since its inception, the organization’s activities and membership have continued to grow, providing a valuable resource for the community and helping to strengthen the cultural bonds among Hindi speakers in the Indianapolis area.
